I relatively have a ninety Trans Am 305 TPI. I relatively have right here setup - Flowmaster 80 sequence American Thunder Catback with chrome steel pipes. 2.25 in 3 inch all the way by using to lower back -Edelbrock Ceramic coated Headers effects- very deep sound and astonishing WOT sound the two out and in of motor vehicle. Sound like a beast! i observed a extensive strengthen in torque. specially by way of headers. The muffler will sense like the motor vehicle is respiration greater effectual.

You should not run a single exhaust with those headers. The backpressure would cause them to generate so much head that it would damage the starter. I would definitely run dual exhaust. Let that motor breathe. Good luck, sounds like a great project.
