I can see the wisdom of some of the things President Ahmadinejad says. For instance he says that if the Germans and Austrians are responsible for the holocaust, that then they should give up some of their land to make amends to the Jewish people. Establish a Jewish state in Germany/Austria and get the Jewish people out of the Arab world. That way the Germans and Austrians pay their dues. The Jews have a safe place, a state of their own and the Arabs don't have a bunch of fanatical, nuclear weapon toting Jewish people in the middle of their world. Oh and did I mention the Palestinians get their country back?

It really sounds like a win, win situation for everyone. Especially the Americans. People all over the world blame us for the things the Israelis do to their neighbors. If that was off the table, we might have fewer people wanting to strap bombs to themselves and kill Americans. I'm not an expert, but it makes sense to me.

So yea, on some level I think I do like President Ahmadinejad.

Ahmedinejad is a lying, cheating fascist, who subverts common sense just for the sake of it. Iran no longer uses summer time "because it interferes with prayers" - never mind the fact that most of the daylight hours are now stuck where most people don't use them. Ahmedinejad is just the puppet to the extremist mullahs who really run the country, and rather than stand up to them he just goes along gleefully with everything they say, regardless of how insane it is. He was a member of the Basij (secret police) and may even have been one of those who held hostages in the American Embassy. Even the poor of Iran should hate him, because he has fulfilled none of his promises of helping them.

Because he is not being intimidated by the USA and he is proving just as canny as any one of our overpaid and oversubscribed agencies. Not saying I personally like him though, don't know him.

But Johnathan, Bush is a religious fanatic. Are you going to apply the same rule. At least Ahmadinejad has not claimed to take his advice from God directly.

I like him because he served America in securing cheap oil from the Middle East, and in Increasing American arm sales to the Middle Eastern oil-rich countries, I won't elaborate further.

Actually I do not. He is arrogant and threatens my nation on a more than regular basis.

There's really nothing about this Persian Lout to like. I wish Wyatt Earp were around to show him how to make a cranial canoe.

His latest sophisticated act was to destroy the satellite dishes in Iran. Wouldn't want news of the outside world leaking in. Where's that guy with the fascist definition? :)

No, he's a religious fanatic. Fanaticism is never good; whether the individual is christian, muslim, or what not.
