absolutely.elderly females,sometimes even males,with osteoporosis will lose height as their vertebral column can compress due to small fractures.and everyones discs compress somewhat with time.military personnel who jump from airplanes frequently-not just a few jumps,but many over the years-will lose height from the impact of hitting the ground with speed and force-that,too,compresses the discs and spine.

It is very possible and it happens alot. Something in our spines and bones diminish and causes us to get a little shorter. Also, some people as they get older, tend to hunch over. Hunching over for long enough will also cause you to grow shorter.

You don't "grow" shorter, but with osteoparosis, I think the bones in the spine deteriorate, which causes you to lose some height.

We all do... All you need to do is grow older. You'll get shorter.

Not only possible but probable. we shrink a little as we grow older. haven't you seen these old guys with their belt practically up to their arm pits?

Yes, but it is due to loss of bone mass or posture not as great than when we were younger.
