Go in the Air Force as an air traffic controller and get a little experience. Learn what you can...then...when you get out of the Air Force (generally 3 years), get a job with the US Govermnet as an air traffic controller. Right now, the average controller makes about $140,000 a year. You can retire with 25 years service...and the military time will count, too...so you can retire after working only 22 years (assuming you were in the air force for 3 years.) The average retirement pension for an air traffic controller is $75,000.
Wish I'd know that when I was younger...

You might want to work on your spelling if being a teacher is at the top of your list. Probation officers don't make squat. Neither do police officers considering what they do. Below is a web site that shows some of the higher paying jobs. Maybe you will see something that interests you. Good luck. m

Join the military, travel the world, great medical/dental/optical benefits, 30 days paid vacation/ year. 20 years retire with pension and partial medical benefits. It is one of the few guaranteed jobs on the market today. Plus they pay for school. Not to mention if you have a family the medical and dental is $10/ month for your dependents. Find that in the classifieds!!

Consider being a congressman. That is the only job I know of (in the US) that you are guaranteed to keep getting any $$$ after you leave the job.

Other than that you will need a time machine or a seriously good investment strategy.

It will be a rareity finding a company that give a pension. However, most of the companies now days will offer you a 401K plan where you invest your money and they will give you an amount matching up to a percentage. Everyone needs something to fall back on.

Teachers make squat --I am a teacher and people with ALOT less schooling makes more than me!!! Go into something else --like being a lawyer or something!!!! I teach because I love kids --not the money. If you are there for the money, you wouldn't survive a day!!!
