i got a water pipe that i want to make into a potato gun how do i make the objest fly out of the barrel at very VERY hi speeds?

If you propel a potato any faster than you can throw it with your arm you could seriously hurt someone.

You'd have to have a very high preassure then. The easiest way to do that would be to use a gas cannister rather than water. However if you made some sort of pump or hydraulic system then you'd get the preassure you need.

Actually my best Friend and I made a Potato Gun a Month ago. and the best thing to use is Hairspray.

Along with lighter fliud above, you can try all sorts of stuff.
experiment with hair spray, and many aerosol products - just
squirt them over a bic lighter first to see how good they are.
Then try them in the tube. happy potatoes.

it must have a cap at the rear. drill a hole and use an ignitor switch from
a propane grill in the hole. un-cap, spray a small shot of ether (starting
fluid) never use gasoline, close cap, hit ignitor... flying taters.

gasoline was good for me, but as any adult will tell you...don't do it, blah blah blah...hurt yourself , lose an eye etc. etc.
