The war on drugs is not obsolete, it has been lost. Its time we faced reality and made all drugs legal. You could take a fraction of the money saved and have the best prevention and treatment programs available. As an indirect savings, imagine the crime that would be prevented and the police money that would be freed not to mention the toll on human health and prison overcrowding. You would gut the chief financing of organized crime, terrorism, and gangs.

I wish we had more pot smokers & less alcoholics.
It would be so much more pleasant, esp. with the lack of violence.
Then the cops would have to look elsewhere for their revenue.
I've never seen Weeds on Showtime, but I would love to.
Hopefully, it will have some positive influence on
tomorrows politicans.
Esp,since the words of scientists seem to fall on deaf ears.
