Should I tell my companion we're in Bat Country? No, the poor bastard will find out soon enough.

I really like all the films directed by Terry Gilliam, EXCEPT Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, I have watched 2 times and despite some brilliant scenes, I just can't stand it. Sorry.

Awesome, awesome movie.
I wish times were still like that.
I'd like to take a trip to Vegas on acid.
Brilliant acting.

the film is even better after you've read the book. If you're smart you'll understand thompsons deep sense of irony, if you're not, you'll miss the point. Too many people mistake it for an empty headed cheech and chong style film
