Stanley Cup History
Overall playoff record: 65-105

In 1968, the Kings lost to Minnesota in the quarterfinals, 4-3. The La Kings have only played in one Stanley Cup Final - 1993. They lost to Montreal 4-1. Even with Wayne Gretzky, the Kings have never won a Stanley Cup.

0. They only made the Finals once, in 1993, losing in 5 games to the Canadiens.

The kings were up 1-0 in the series and leading with about 2 minutes left in game 2, when Marty McSorley was called for an illegal stick and the Canadiens tied the game on the ensuing power play, winning in OT. The Canadiens then went on to win the next 3 straight.

They haven't won any Stanley Cups. The closest they came to winning one was during the 1992-1993 season. They lost the series 4-1 against the Montreal Canadiens. They've only been to the Stanley Cup Finals once.

None since they cam into the league in 1967. They lost to the Canadiens in the 92-93 season. Ever since 1967, they have notoriously lost in either the first or second round and have missed making the playoffs 15 times, not including the lost 2004-2005 season.
