I'm trying to send out an email with a hyperlink but the recipient's spam/virus filter is forcing it to bounce back or go to their spam folders. How do I get around this?

Yes, I've tried both leaving the http:// out and putting spaces in between....it still keeps it as a hyperlink. About the only thing I haven't tried as of yet is manually typing the link in without the http:// or with the spaces in it. It's a loooooong link and I was hoping I wouldn't have to do this....but I'll give it a try at this point. Thanks all

First, right click the URL in your e-mail message. Click Properties. Remove the URL reference.

That alone probably won't work. The recipient's spam filter will still recognize the "http//" and may even recognize things like ".com" and "www."

You should break the message up. I would do it like this...

I had to break the URL up to get past your spam filter. To reassemble the URL remove the line breaks and replace the phrases "dot(.)" with the standard "." Then type in the standard "http:/ /" before pasting the following URL into your browser's address bar.

If it's THEIR spam/virus filter there's little YOU can do. Can you put spaces in the URL so it's not a real URL. Then ask the user to remove the spaces? It'll get the info across, but be a nonfunctional link. Is that any help?

Here's how to make an HTML hyperlink: http://www.w3schools.com/html/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_links

Did you try just typing the address in? usually it just turns into a hyperlink, or if not they can just copy/paste it into the address space. If that was what you meant when you said you were putting in hyperlinks, try putting it in w/out the "http://" in front. The recipient can copy/paste it into the address space.

You can set your email program to send plain text instead of HTML in Outlook Express, when composing an email go under Format and select Plain Text. Then you can type your hyperlink and your friend will have to cut and paste it into his browser.

definite, it truly is wise, yet you won't be able to embed links in undeniable textual content. like the call says, it is undeniable. the in uncomplicated words thanks to embed something like this may be to create the mail in html, like an internet site. in case you employ Outlook, you may create mail in HTML format (actually, Outlook formats it for you), and embed the link that way.
