Right now its going to college (at age 49) so I can get a good job that won't drag me down physically (I have Chronic Fatigue). I love going to school!
I was a housecleaner and car detailer for a long time (good money- hard work) and I had a day care once upon a time.
I was going to go into spec ed , too, when I first went to college 20 years ago. But when I got sick, I thought it might be too taxing for me.
So now I'm majoring in Natural Resources and plan to be like a part-time park guide or something like that. Thanks for asking!

Heidleberg MO Printing Press Operator for Tops Printing. I get a bit inky at times, but compared to my last job (I was a diaper service delivery truck driver / laundry operator) it's quite bearable. Good job satisfaction turning out lots of textbooks, etc, which help people educate themselves, and a good crew of people to work with.

I am a TSS (Therapeutic Staff Support). In your job, you may know exactly what a TSS does. I work one-on-one with kids who have behavioral and/or emotional problems. I love it when I see the children making improvements in their lives. I have a tough time enjoying my job when the child is aggressive and hurts me. I also coach Special Olympic athletes and love that entirely!

I'm a substitute teacher whose done everything from preschool through high school decathloners. I've done every flavor of special ed, too-LH, SH, RSP, medically fragile (wheelchair-bound), ED/BD. And I've been at it since March 23rd, 2001-and I HATE my job!! Student behavioral problems rank as the No. 1 *****, but I've met some staff members who should be flogged if not fired (including a principal of a jr. high who, after having been shown my backside where 3 miscreants sprayed "white-out", actually told me "you have to control the class"-as if I had eyes in the back of my head!).

I'm a packer in a warehouse that distributes pharmaceuticals and medical supplies. I don't always love it, but it pays the bills, and the way I see it, it fills a need.
