A Spoofstick is an amazing tool that beats scammers at their own game. It allows you to see that an email coming from a reputable source such as Bank of America, is really not. Usually there is a link in the email that takes you to a fake web site that wants you to put in confidential information. With the Spoofstick you will be able to see what the real web site is that you are visiting, so you will see that it is not a legitimate site.

It is a security tool for web browsers. It helps users to identify if a website is in reality a phish website, a bogus website disguised as a genuine one. Currently, SpoofStick supports Internet Explorer and Firefox. Below is the publisher's description of SpoofStick: (http://www.spoofstick.com/)

What is SpoofStick?
SpoofStick is a simple browser extension that helps users detect spoofed (fake) websites. A spoofed website is typically made to look like a well known, branded site (like ebay.com or citibank.com) with a slightly different or confusing URL. The attacker then tries to trick people into going to the spoofed site by sending out fake email messages or posting links in public places - hoping that some percentage of users won't notice the incorrect URL and give away important information. This practice is sometimes known as “phishing".

scary movie series. similar to slapstick comedy but instead of coming up with original material, they use bits and pieces from REAL movies and parody them into an unpolished form of comedy
