I lived and watched cricket in India in 70s, then I moved to America. I just wonder where my favorite cricketers are now and how they look like and what they do now.

6) Prasanna, Bedi and Chandrashekar
7) Kulkarni
8) Kapil Dev
9) Ajit Wadekar
10) Pataudi
11) Jaishima (remember him?)
12) Vengsarkar
13) Manjayrakar
14) Lets not forget Kirmani
And great crickets that I cant think any names from 70s.

Most of the information given by Kante is good, Just wanna update a bit.
Jaisimha is no more he died on July 6 1999 due to lung cancer.
And since you are talking of 1970 I guess ur talking abt Vijay Manjrekar and not Sanjay Manjrekar(Vijay's Son). He passed away in 1983

Gavaskar - still busy with cricket (in commentary, administration and controversy)
Viswanath - hardly seen him make a public appearance of late
farok engineer - was doing commentary few years back...not any more
solkar - no idea
chandu borde - involved with cricket still (i guess in administration)
prasanna - was ill recently, dont know the latest
bedi - he is still the same, keeps talking on every show possible
kapil dev - has once cried on tv when he was alleged on match fixing....he plays golf...and busy with his business
ajit wadekar - coached indian team successfully few years back..still active with cricket
pataudi - i last saw him getting arrested on hunting a black buck i guess
jaisimha - involved with cricket in hyderabad
vengsarkar - runs a cricket academy in mumbai
kirmani - still active on cricket shows on tv....
