well funny you shoulg ask......there are several types of "butt plugs". lets start with the history of the *********. they were originally brought here by spanish settlers, at which time butt plugs were indiginous to the area. they were made popular by catholic priests in the early 1800's. as far as butt plugs go today, there is a plethora of choices....... you have the christmas tree buttplug(shaped like a tree), there is the mushroom *********(shaped for obvious reasons), and finally you have anal beads. The real question you should be asking yourself is " which is better, butt plugs or anal beads"

It's for stimulation of the nerves in that sensitive area. It's also for stretching the butt "hole" to make it easier to insert something else, such as the male part.
