Well one of the first signs is a missed menstration, now you may bleed but it will be light and won't last as long as your normal menstration.
Morning sickness, unless you have a stomach disorder, your breasts are be swollen, tender and the area around your nipples will get darker, you'll urinate more than usual and have cravings for unusual foods.
Before saying anything to your parents, take a pregnancy test. It could be a delaid menstration.
The best way to tell your parents if you are indeed pregnant is having your boyfriend alongside and preferably when they're in a good mood. Explain to them that are both willing to take responsibilites for the baby (Assuming you are going to be a young mother and it is something you really want). Try writing a letter if you do not want to face them or have a relative or your best friend there when you break the news.
Now they may "trip" but just give them some time to get used to the idea.
Good luck!

Quasimodo's answer is harsh. Obviously she's a virgin. But now that you've experinced the joy of sex, buy a pregnancy test at Walgreens, Wal-Mart or Osco. If it says you're pregnant, you gotta talk to the folks at once. Do the right thing. If you're not preggo, you're lucky. Next time think about it. The best answer is NO. You know that now, don't you? Next best answer is protection. Make him use a rubber (which sucks) or go on the pill, probably a better choice. Still, the best choice is NO! Save yourself for marriage and for when children are desired.

As for telling your parents, that is a tough situation for you and a tough question to answer. Even the most understanding parents get upset. Just know that your parents will ALWAYS love you and that this will NOT change that. They will just be a little disappointed and angry at first. Expect that.
Try to gather your courage and sit them down and tell them. Telling one parent first may be easier depending on your relationship with them. One parent may be able to tell the other or help and support you while you tell the other. Anyway you look at it, it's going to be hard. But don't worry, once they calm down and get used to the idea, things will be okay. I hope things work out for you, Sweetie. Good Luck. Everything will be okay. :-)

ahh 16 with a baby. There goes highschool, college, any kind of life at all. Woot.
Don't you feel freaking awesome now? (slap) Dummy, just because you've got hair on it, doesn't mean you're responsible enough to use it.
Christ almighty try thinking with your brain. So how's the thought of welfare and living in the ghetto appeal to you while you bust your *** at Mcdonalds because you never finished highschool? Does it sound thrilling and exciting? Was the 5-10 minutes he spent inside of you worth it?
It all sounds harsh right? I sound like I'm being an *** right? How much harsher do you think it will be if you ARE pregnant? If you get out of this, do yourself a favor and keep your legs closed until you've at least finished Highschool.

Hi, I know you must feel really scared. First of all buy a home pregnancy test. I f it says yes..you have to tell your parents. You
are going to need their support. If the test is negative, count your blessings and start using protection. You still might want to talk to atleast your mother for some needed support.
If you have to talk to your parents, sit them down in a quiet calm surroundings with just you at first. Parents can really surprise you and be quite supportive. Stay calm. Goodluck.

Get a pregnancy test done. You can buy them in any drugstore or pharmacy. Test twice, just in case. If it tests positive, tell your parents. They may be mad but they should support you and help you make the right choice. Remember, if you aren't ready to be a parent yet, you can always give up your baby for adoption. Good luck.

well thats a good question. i didn't know i was pregnant the first time. actually my mother told me i was pregnant. so regardless of how you think your parents will react if your parents pay attention to how you feel and act if you are pregnant it is a good possibility that they might be thinking you could be if you think you are as well so, i would tell your mom that you think here is a possibility and ask her for her help. moms can be of great help once they get over the shock of there baby being pregnant.
believe me when i told my mom i was pregnant (even though she already knew) i was still scared .

If there is even a hint of it or your sexually active go now and talk to them. Don't wind up with a baby you are not prepared to care for. Let them know and get on the pill.

Buy a home pregnancy test. If you're positive, tell them as soon as possible. You're going to need their help.
