Morals are all about how you perceive them to be. The fact that you're asking if it's morally wrong is because you believe it may be.
What are your other priorities?

Considering that it's people who make the world go around and not money, I'd have to say yes. You mention morals, but since when is greed a moral? I thought it was one of the deadly sins. I can understand wanting to be financially secure, I just can't see putting that ahead of everything else in life. If you've been doing that, chances are you are missing out on some really good opportunities. We are not defined in life by how much money we make, we are defined by who we are as people. I've seen the poorest of people have this amazing amount of character, values, and sense of self worth. I've also seen the richest of people who bore me to death, have nothing interesting to say and are so self absorbed, it sickens me.
I can't speak for everyone, and you are going to make your decision on your own, but you have to consider the fact that you are asking this question. Either you want validation and somebody else to agree with you, or you are questioning it yourself because you know it's probably not right. It's your life honey, live it to the fullest.

It is IF you put the money and financial status before your family (parents, wife, kids). If you are alone, then that is different and it isn't too bad, as long as you don't want to ever get married.

Are you placing your financial status over the well being of yourself and family? Then yes. People first, then money.
