I need a subject that is really good so that I can do 12 pieces of artwork bsed on that subject ex. animals, objects, etc...... anyone have any sugestions for something good? I would really apreciate it

One of the best drawings I ever did was an abstract based on a "rubbing" of a crystal vase. The assignment was to put paper over something with texture. Then rub the paper with a chalk so the texure would be picked on the paper. Then base a drawing or painting on the result.
You could pick items with different textures either individually or as a group, and draw them. Doing a "rubbing" is just another idea. Good luck with your project!

What inspires you? The best artwork you will ever do is when you concentrate of something you love or are passionate about. Maybe you love nature. Maybe you are passionate about a social cause or skateboarding. Artwork that makes people think is important. Apply what you think about, to what you paint/draw/sculpt, etc. about. Challenge yourself to grow! Good luck, and keep making art!
ps- the idea of ancient civilizations is good. . .maybe make them relate to our modern civilization somehow. . .make them relevant instead of just a depiction of history.

I saw an article in National Geographic years ago, about butterflies and moths. They were beautiful.
