Manchester...somehow I guess you will want to see Liverpool as the answer!!
Manchester people have a fun sense of humour. Whereas scousers humour is primarily at others' expense, Mancunians gain equal humour from mocking others and self deprecation. Then again anyone I have ever met from Bolton has been hilarious!!

It would be my own town, Manchester (I know, Liverpool, Newcastle, any working class place really - Glasgow, Leeds all have a good shout). Humour in these big cities is like a social oil - it helps strangers get on better.

Newcastle, they always seem so relaxed there, got good friends that live there and a night out up there will leave my face aching for ages from laughter.
