Not all Americans are rude, it's just that the loudest and most arrogant ones (which are usually Republicans, funnily enough) get all the air time. *cough* Ann Coulter *cough*

Don't hate everyone. However, if you would just let us know which country you are from I am sure that we can categorize you and yours as you seem to have Americans. Incidentally, you are showing your ignorance by saying all Americans as many of your respondants have. American encompasses two entire continents with many very diverse societies. The prospective of persons from Bolivia is very different from those of Paraguay. The out look of citizens of Canada is in many ways different from those of Untied States of America citizens. I could site many differences such as Cuba and Mexico, Venezuela and Columbia. May I suggest to you a good social studies class which would encompass History/Geography/Political or Government subjects is much in order for you. Yes ! I am a citizen of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. Furthurmore, I am a TEXAN which probably accounts for my being arrogant, condescending, and rude.

No they are not. Its very unfair to generalise. We all have off day's at times,no matter where we are from. I speak to many Americans and can honestly say, without problem. Even if I did find something which I thought was a bit off,I usually put it down to different cultures and different understandings of things. But then, I'm not the best one to answer this, as I'm a Brit, and will back the Americans all the way,no matter what!!!!!!!!

No, not all Americans are arrogant, condescending, and rude.

The problem here on YA is the average age is REALLY YOUNG -- we have eleven year olds -- and they are current inmates of the modern public schools in this nation. Which means they are arrogant, condescendingm and rude.

Older people from other eras aren't so ornery. That is, not all of them.

That's as much of a generalization as the posts that you criticize.

Of course not all Americans are that bad. Just some of the more outspoken ones. Sadly, the vast majority of those who don't think that way haven't put the effort into making their voices heard, mainly because we don't like having to shout over the nonsense.

Don't join the ranks of the inane. Don't blame everybody for irrational actions of the few. Keep the distinctions, and keep perspective. Don't give up hope.

Wow that's funny we hate everyone yet we are constantly helping the world out in different situations. You can't say that about an entire nation unless you actually know everyone living in it. You are just mad because they don't think the way you do or agree with your opinions.

You're getting the French confused with Americans.
