For Example Find Something That Annoys, Could Be Made Easier Or Just An Old Idea That Needs Revamping -
Thats Where You Brain Comes In - Make Associations With That Task Or Whatever And Create Soultions To The Problem, If You Find the Idea Good Then Research It And See If It Has Been Acheived
If Not Patent It Each Step And If So Patent Each Componet That Is New Or Unquie
The Best Ideas Are Simple That Solve Millions Of People With The Same Problems

A product that can be made from tampons and maxi pads. Its amazing how much waste western women can produce. Science can't find a way to burn in into a fuel source some how? Why shouldn't my engine run off my pissyness? :P
Hmmm.. I would invent a way to cut everything bad out of anything that taste good but its bad for your - while preserving the taste. It act like a microwave. You place whatever you want but don't want to go to your thighs in it. Instead of setting the minutes you'd set the amount of calories or fat or trans or sugar you want reduced. People could create exact and precise diets this way to get optimum results from their diet. The invention would also work in reverse. Say you have a day when you are feeling real sick and can't eat a lot of anything. Or your just so depressed your not really hungry. Wouldn't it be great to get your caloric needs without puking or wasting away over some frat boy? Or what if you're a senior citizen that isn't getting the proper needs met for someone of your age? Lol. I know this is extreme but hey its one application.
Wouldn't it be awesome to be able to eat all the Ben & Jerry's you want without the consequences nor settling for the diet branded substitute for your fix. Why can't a great taste be not only good but awesome for you?
I have a feeling that someone is already on to my invention. And that someone has a golden arch. There is no reason why a BigMac should not be able to compete with a subway sandwich. If anyone can find a way, Ronald McDee can. And I'll support him everyday the minute he does!
and he'll support me everyday if I beat him to it... shhh!!

The Personal Force Field. It doesn't matter whether it is magnetic, electrical, hard-light or plasma (though all are conceivably doable given what we know about the human body's current and potential--altered--metabolism, I have to be a little bit vague so you don't hit the Patent office with it before I do, you know?).
The idea is to find a means to take a personal energy that the human body already makes in minute proportions, and amplify it so that it can do useful work for the person generating the Force, as it were. Control would be by myo-electric electrodes connecting the nervous system (through the skin) to a synthetic neural network...so that the Force Field can, with training, behave like an extra limb or sense of the user's body.
The uses of this could be many and immense, depending on the nature of the Force Field, we'd have:
--the ultimate self-defense device...who is going to attack you or shoot at you if nothing can *touch* you?
--a discreet, personal workout device...Imagine programming your personal Force Field to provide *gentle resistance* to every move you make, rather like being underwater, so that you get more muscle tone just from doing the things you normally do?
--a way to improve the personal mobility for the elderly and disabled without needing intrusive or intimidating robotics...
--a cheap and efficient way for human pedestrians to actually *fly* as opposed to walking,
--and last but not least, a way for ordinary people to amplify their own physical efforts in times of need--car accidents, rescue efforts, and so on.....
I daresay if done well this could usher in a new age since the tool would be so flexible as to replace a LOT of technology for transportation, self-defense, mobility and doing specialized tasks.
Which is why it will never happen (never mind the legal issues surrounding the notion of where *one* person's radius of influence would end, and where another's would begin....or that doing this geo-magnetically might make the earth's magnetic field even *more* wobbly).

My idea has already been invented but difficult to financially come by. The sun is a natural resource that is constant day or night. It doesn't get depleted and when a solar cell attaches to a battery to charge, cars run on solar energy, homes, etc. The earth revolves around the sun USE it. Recycle our garbage other than compostable items and this would alleviate landfills at-least by half if more pitched in. I suggest the book"50 SIMPLE THINGS YOU CAN DO TO SAVE THE EARTH" by Earth Works Press in Berkley. This would also alleviate the horrific struggle for oil in Iraq. I Don't like Oil from blood. No thanks.

A self-cleaning toilet, it would fold up, wash and sanitize like a dishwasher only in about a minute. Then when you wanted to use it you would press a button and it would open up and have a little perfumed water in there. When you got up, it'd close up by itself and go into the wash cycle. On the side would be a little version for men to use as a urinal. It would fit into the same space as a conventional toilet and would not need electricity, as it would store and use hydraulic energy from the weight of the person sitting on it. For the urinal function, or for children there would be a foot pedal that one would pump up to supply the necessary energy. It would hook up to the hot water, and would use a replaceable bottle of scented detergent. This has actually been invented, but was squelched by the porcelain toilet industry because it would not be practical to have it made from porcelain. If you get it in production, I'll buy one...

As a patent agent I can tell you that this is the wrong question, because as soon as they tell you, it's been "conceived" by someone and THEY are the inventor.
The proper question is: "What problem needs to be solved with a new invention?" In that case there are a myriad of answers. Just look around you. Cars use too much gasoline, laptops can't run more than a few hours on a battery, we haven't built a good system so that blind people can see, paraplegics can walk....
Or just find something and improve on it in such a way that it is a better ____, in some way.

when i met Sir "St. Hawkins", I have asked a similar type of question , "what will be great invention ?" , He answered that every invention is great, but invention is nothing but doing regular activity in a better and less effortable manner.
I am researcher, and when i got some idea, i have to write it down. So, if some one invents a machine which will read my thoughts and translates it to words , that will be very great - full for me.

How about a notebook computer with all the textbooks and materials a student will need during the coming school year (as specified in a particular school.). It should be lightweight but sturdy, have a lot of extra memory space, be wireless and have Internet access for free, have a bunch of easily chargeable and replaceable batteries. Each year old materials could be saved or discarded, updated and new ones installed. This would probably save the schools money and the students from having back problems.
