Im wondering is 5 feet six inches above or bellow the average height of a 13 year old?Im just curious I just feel like im a short person..well not bellow the belt anyways well please reply..BTW its been five months and around 20 days sience my last birth day..

I'd say you are going to probably grow to be around 6' tall. You still have a lot of growing to do! You are probably in the 7th grade and I was around the same height then. I'm 6' 1" tall as an adult.
Are you finding that you aren't as tall as most kids your age? I'm just wondering what is making you worried about this matter. I was above average height in seventh grade, being approximately your height. I wouldn't worry about it at all. Also people grow in "spurts" at different ages...

the 50th percentile height ranking for 13 year old boys is 61 1/2 inches. This means that 50% of 13 year old boys are taller and 50% are shorter than this height.
I am 6'4", I didn't stop growing until I was almost 24

Well,....you might be doing a lot of your growing NOW...and you may taper off a bit...but that is a good height..my brother was 6"3" at that age...and some kids are like 5' tall at that age..it is to do with heredity factors...but the average I would think,..is about 5'3-4'....you are just fine!!

I'm 13 and I'm 5 foot 9 inches and it has been about 8 months since my birthday and nooooo you ain't short because i know atleast 10 people the same age as me that are 5'3 so you really don't need to feel that way

I teach high school. You are very average for a male and a little above average for a female, I THINK. That is from what I observe anyway.
Also, a 13 yr old, doesn't need to be discussing his "gear" online. It's dangerous and not very smart. Be wise online.

HOw much shorter are you than your parents? You are nowhere near through growing my son is 15 and he is still growing. 5'10" when he was 13 he was about 5'6". You'll get to the height you want to be before you know it. Your height is definetly average.

it depends on when you start puberty so it is hard to find an average height so i wouldnt worry because you dont stop growing till your about 17

im 6"0" exactly and im 13 and a half but it isnt just genetics because my mum is 5"3" and my dad is 6"1" which isnt too tall
