My mom is getting ready 2 give birth to twins in a cupple months. Im almost 14 yrs old n a boy. Were planning 2 go somewhere (either egypt, thailand or mexico city) and shell be giving birth to the babies there. She is very big so she cant move around more than a mile or so per day. Wherever we go, she wont be giving birth in a hospital, well do it in a home (that we'd be renting). She is already starting to feel the baby moving around so we have to go soon. I will def. b present 4 da delivery, labor, whole 9 yards. We r a little bit worried, becaus she already is in a LOT of pain but shes defintely having a normal birth. the plane ride wont be 2 hard - well have 2 rent 3 seats so she can lie down. Anyways plz answer!!!!!!!!!!!! more info coming

The reason that pregnant woman in there last trimasters aren't allowed to fly is because of the pressure elevation are you even sure that the airline will let her go on? Just because you paid for tickets doesn't mean you have the right to go on. Your mother is a safety issue. My father works for an airline and they have a policy of no pregnant women allowed. Since your mother is big at the moment its not like she can hide it. If you and your mother really want to go first call the airline and ask if pregnant women, in what ever month your mother is in, are allowed to fly. The chances are that its going to be a no. But if your flying outside the US I'm not all that sure but you should still check. If you and your mother really plan to have the baby all natural then I suggest you get yourself ready. Make sure where ever you are that you have the number for a medic avaliable and don't hesitate to call if you are unsure about something. There are a lot complications that can happen even though your mother is so far normal. I have been the picture of purfect health in my pregnancy and just a week ago I had to be sent to the hospital to stop the contractions. I wasn't dialated and I was only 34 weeks. If I hadn't have gone when I did both me and the baby could have died from this. Trust me contracting and not opening up down there is a bad thing. What I'm trying to say is no one saw this coming not even my doctor. So please don't hesitate to call for help.

Since your mother is having twins the chances are that she is going to have them early making them premature and in need of medical care. Delivery isn't easy either most women having twins require a c-section (taking the babies out through the belly) because one or both in an odd position causing difficult or even impossible labor. You need to think about your mother's and the baby's safety first. Even if it may be aginst your mother's original plan.

In the last trimester the airline will not allow a mother to fly without a doctor's note. I was only 30 weeks and they made me get one because I was big as a house it is a bad move anyway flying because of the pressure due to high elevation and could cause your mom to go into labor. Play it safe have the baby at home then treat her to a vacation later after everyone is safe and sound.

If she is in pain she does not need to travel

What she needs is an OB doctor for some prenatal care for her and those babies and deliver those babies in a hospital where there are medical professionals to assist with those babies and her.

why does she want to go somewheres else to have the babies? it doesn't make sense. she may not be able to make the trip, she better consult her doctor.
