It is not about the points, more pointing out the difference between reality and this web site as a representation of that reality.

Well observed. But because the reverse is often quoted, are we actually sure that that is the reality?

While it is true that there are more questions than answers, people simply choose the questions they ask and not just ask every question that crops up. This can probably be connected to their fear of rejection or ridicule.

Isn't it more comforting that here there are MORE ANSWERS? Just goes to show that everyone cares (no matter what they say). It would be pathetic to see more questions unanswered than the other way around.

There are no more questions than answers, there are more answers on Yahoo answers because every question proposes the solution already. Even your question at the end "why?" You already presuppose that there is a meaning, to everything, to that word, to you; that's crap, none of that is true, which is obviously why you are asking the question. I ask this, why does there "need" (if I can use that empty word over the other empty words) to be a question? You come up with the questions from the solution that is already there.

no thats not true. there are more answers than questions everywhere, the only thing is to uncover the truth. you cannot ask a question without knowing its answer [ though u may not realise that the answer is with u because of which we ask questions.]
but here... its different case. some answer cause they want to answer, some for pts & some just for nothing.

For every question that one person can ask, many can provide an answer for.

Also, rarely does a question not have an answer.

Mathematics takes care of the rest.

The number of questions is infinite. The number of answers is infinite. The n of Answers equals the n of Answers.

because for every one person that asks a question there are about ten or more people to answer it. maybe ten or more people could answer some questions and then one person could try to guess what those questions are? ha ha.

I suspect because there are alot of people who think anything that comes out of their mouths qualifies as an "answer"- and that actually THINKING about a question, isn't necessary.

Perhaps because it is easier to give an opinion than to request answers.
