George Lucas promised making 3 more Star Wars movies, and so far he has kept his promise with the newest installment Star Wars: Clone Wars coming out in theaters August 15, 2008. It's not the SW Episode 7 but it's actually a CGI Animated film that takes place between episodes 2 and 3.

I do not know if there is even a grain of truth to this but...

I seem to recall hearing that there were books 7-9 in existence and that although Mr. Lucas just wasn't really up for another trillogy, his daughter was considering picking up where he left off and trying her hand at directing the final 3.

As I said, this is far from confirmed fact. Good luck uncovering the truth!

I wish there would be, but i think the story of Star Wars began and ended with Anakin Skywalker.

Star Wars is supposed to be Anakin Skywalker's/Darth Vader's story of how he rose and fell, now that he's dead I don't think they will make any more

Lucas has said no. And based on the last three made, I really hope not. They just weren't as good as the original trilogy.

If there really is, its something to look forward to. Maybe it will be all about Hans Solo and Princess Leia's kids.
