send him on a wild goose chase. give him a letter in the morning telling him to go somewhere at a certain time. That place will have further directions of another place. keep it simple. Like say plan ahead at a flower shop. Have them hold one rose for you with a note giving him directions to pick up something somewhere else. then send him to a liquer store to buy an inexpensive bottle of wine (or maybe two). You can ask the manager if he can hold a letter for your b/f which should give him directions to be somewhere else. hint* at the flower shop give the name of the manager for him to ask for his next letter. Most people are good sports about this. just an idea. you can make it as lengthy or short. at the end, be naked at home or in some sexy lingerie!

hey.. how about a natural red rose with a birthday card, I tell u its really meaningful. Or u can take him out to movies or for lunch. Tell u the fact sis m also in the same kind of dilema, m also thinking about what gift i should give to my b/f on his birthday. I made my boyfriend a scrapbook out of pictures of us at the places we have gone to throughout our relationship. I bought one of those pre-made ones (cause I'm not made of money, either) and just stuck a bunch of pictures in. I left some blank at the end and put a sticky note that said something about how I couldn't wait to fill it up with more memories. A little on the cheesy side, but he loved it.

make him a coupon book, with things in like " this coupon good for one thirty minute massage" and " a get out of the dog house card that says that you will forget about one stupid thing he does and you wont harp on him about it. another card could be for one free B.J. if you guys are sexually active. another card could be "one night out movie and dinner my treat." stuff like that stuff you know he would like. I did this for one of my boyfriends and he loved it, he went through all of them with in a month and i had made one for each year of his life. lol. he had turned 28 . lol.
