As you all know we're a musically talented city but other than the obvious which is the best band to come out of Liverpool?
And don't you dare mock my city...i've heared it all before so save your breath!

The Zutons, The La's the bunnymen, Frankie goes to hollywood,The Coral, Space, Cast, Atomic Kitten....ha ha.

Gypsie I would never mock! My pa is from there originally and I love his family's sense of humour!
Beatles are first followed by Echo and the Bunnymen (80s) and nowadays The (fabulous) Zutons!

I would have to say that Echo and the Bunnymen are the best Liverpudlian band. I do not particularly like them but I think Echo and the Bunnymen had a great influence on other groups who came through and their songwriting was adventurous at times. Crocodiles and Porcupine were particularly influential albums.

As a fellow Liverpudlian....I really like the Zutons and the Coral. New refreshing bands....but there are alot of good local bands who play in places like Zanzibar and Barfly who are pretty good too.

I luv Echo and the Bunnymen, I think they were from over there. My own favourite band from my city (Manchester), was 10cc (they were Stockport actually)..

The Beatles will never be beaten.. Gerry and the Pacemakers 2nd.. Oasis 3rd. , no thats birmingham....
