my hamster when he wakes up his right eye does not open for a couple of minutes is that normal?

if he is pretty new yet a baby hold a warm damp cloth over it it will help it to open i used to raise them!!!

yes it is normal but not too normal cause my hamster does the same thing the vet told me it was some sort of fluids in the eye from bourrowing it self in the bottom of the tank all he told me was to clean my tank more often.

Don't worry about it, my hamster does that all the time! You don't need to take him to the vet, I'm a hamster expert! The only thing that you need to worry about is if it's eye gets red. Then you should take it to the vet.

I don't think this is normal my ferrat did the same thing and after a few days we decided to take it to the vet and it was died when we cam hoem and that was like only 3 days.
I could have been something different but I would get it checked out.

i love hamsters there furry and cute. i like to sleep with my hamster we let him roam about the house. He is so cute i just want to hug him but i cant because his eyes would pop out :(

he has eye boogers. ask a vet about it, im sure u can use water or something to clear it

it might be bcuz he has cold or crust in his eyes but yes its normal
