The dolphin sound is like when they bleep out a bad word on a regular T.V. show, so it's left up to your imagination, but it's supposed to be a bad word.

I think it is f*ck. Sorry for the foul language. I think it's that becuse it fits in all of the sentances spongbob and patrick use it in, and once spongbob says, "patrick, how the (dolphin sound) are you"

they want you to think about what it is you see spongebob moves his lips when the dolphin chanting so it would be what ever you want it to be i guess, not sure.
