Because tan is in, dispite what race white people like and don't like, they don't want to be white as paper; it's unattractive.
Some white people, especially many greek & italians, are naturally tan.
& It aint just about latinas and african americans, so stop being racist.
I'm half puerto-rican & half italian and I will still agree that discrimination isn't right. My sister gets a tan even though she is half rican and guess what! She doesn't want to be black. She is proud of her hispanic and italian roots. What the hell, black people aren't even tan they're brown. Each person has their own faults & some white people are darker then latinos! I've seen latin people that I thought were white. So, come on now, they are not wanna-bes... they just want to be sexy, a good tan makes everyone sexy.
AND to MOOGLELIZ, I may be half latina and only half white but I will still say, you're the only one "retarded" here. You want to judge a race because SOME of them like to tan? That makes you completely stupid. Learn how to spell before discriminating a race because no body wants to be you, or your little "homies". You are too uneducated to want to be.

Maybe some people dont wanna be a ghost and want to tan . but i think its really retarded if you go get like a spray tan or fake then thats messed up but just becuz someone tans doesnt mean they wanna be like you or that they wanna look like you it just means they dont wanna be white ghosts.........and sorry if i insulted you but i said what i thought u should here

(for a white person) When you are young tanned skin looks healthy. As you age you get all wrinkled trying to look a little more tanned.
I don't thinks its smart myself. Women my age (mid 20's) who tan are really starting to show. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Girls are never happy with their appearance. Its a shame that people have to talk trash about other people just to make themselves feel better. I wish everyone could just accept themselves and everyone around them. Love who you are and embrace it. Also, respect those around you and admire different types of beauty. Thats what you should have told that girl.

I treasure my whiteness. I am ghost white and i love it because i am so different from everyone else. Not all whities go tanning. I'm all natural!

Because they're pale...and some of them are just addicted...and want you're color 'cuz they're jealous!.....
