I'm republican...I just wanted opinions

I like some from each side. I also dislike some from each side. That's why it's so important to vote for a candidate, not a political party.

Someone who says they only like one side either has extensive knowledge of the party and is in line with them 100%, or simply votes by the (R) or the (D) endorsement, which is not an intelligent way to live life or vote.

Democratic......I believe a woman has a right to choose....also in funding for stem cell research....increased money for education...helping out the Katrina victims along the Gulf Coast...bringing the troops home from Iraq....cleaning up the environment before we're all forced to wear a mask in order to get around outside....in finding alternative fuel sources....in keeping religion and politics separate.....in ending Bush's wiretaps on phones....in having a balanced budget again and in ending the Patriot Act. The Republicans believe in none of these and want to take the country down the road to hell like they're doing - I prefer to think it can still be saved - assuming we get rid of the Republicans.

I like republican beliefs, but I don't like conservatives. Democrats turn me off since I don't believe in a welfare state.

In general I like Republican beliefs more. Democrats want high taxes for everyone and it seems that Democrats are WAY more liberal...which I am not...so I guess it depends..

republican... whats good for the country is bad for the democrats... whats bad for the country is good for the democrats. it helps them politically..... maybe we can reason with the terrorists and they will like us. we dont want to spy on possible terrorists that can prevent a disaster... they have rights... we are alienating the rest of the world because we defended ourselves... we better leave iraq now before we make the terrorists madder... all that garbage is right out of the democratic playbook and their liberal base....

I can't take the party line--have to form an opinion on each issue separately based on its merits and my limited ability to understand.
