Age would determine if you wanted to replace it. Make sure the fan is working & not frozen. Next open the rear panel in the freezer & see if the defroster is still working. There shouldn't be a huge amount of ice on the coils.

I had one once that did that and it was the "Evaporative" coil had frozen and block the air circulation. Thaw it out and set the controls in the "middle" range and try again.
If it's not too old (old refrigerators have poor insulation and are not worth repairing) then see if the "cooling agent" needs to be replenished (also check for leaks) or if the motor has stopped working (since the motors are usually in an "oil bath" it's not likely) or the condenser coil fan or evaporative coil fan has failed.

Depends on the age. It might just need some more refrigerant, and possibly a small leak repaired in the copper tubing. If it's less than 7 years old and has otherwise given good service it might be a good option to fix it.

How old is it?If over 10 years then replace if less than 5 it may pay to repair( cost should be less than 1/6 replacement cost for like unit).
