One of my neighbors are raising corn. Today I talked to them. They said that the deer were starting to eat their corn. They do not know what to do. They do not want to harm the deer. I am lost on this one. I can somebody help?

If they do not want to harm the deer, about all that leaves for an alternative is to fence it in. But it is going to need to be a fairly tall fence, and reasonably 'tight'. That could make it pretty expensive. Might defeat the whole purpose of raising the corn.

Deer were eating my pepper and tomatoe plants this spring when they were little. I had to put cages around them until they got large enough to lose that young and tender taste that attracted them. I don't know, I prefer the fruit to the green plant so that is an assumption on my part.

I have never found any of the chemical repellants, or home remedies to be effective at keeping them away. If they are hungry enough, and the corn is the only food source in the area, or it is their preference, it can be a battle.

Good luck to them.

Deer are different in other parts of the country but around here they are like a growing cancer..can't shoot them because of environmentalists and poor Bambi looks so cute..so over populated that coyotes and mountain lions maybe only made a 5% dent in the population..when they're hungry they will eat anything..even rosemary..
the only thing I can recommend is a 12 foot chain link electric fence..pepper spray, coyote piss or anything else someone recommends won't work..same goes for raccoons..

Plant hot peppers around the corn, or sprinkle cayenne or red pepper seeds around it. You can also mix hot pepper powder with water and spray it on the leaves of the plants. It doesn't harm the deer, but it gives them something to think about.

Get some pots, plant Horseradish in the pots.

Deer will stay away. Has worked all year for me. Good harvest in the garden this year

Have a dog chase em around...otherwise, shoot a couple gun shots over their heads, that should make em run...
