You have never "run a mok?"
Down here in the south, we have Mok-hounds we use to run them up a tree. Then we shot them out of the tree. Moks are good eating!

thats MUCK for starters.
Basically the term came from getting stuck in a type of mud that is called muck.Running a muck means getting into a tough position to get out of. I can't remember all the details but thats what it basically means.
