I have been riding the bus with this handsome man. On some occasions, I ride in his car to and from work. Now he is asking me if I want to go out for drinks with him? We are both married with kids.

What do you think of this guy? Is he a decent person? Is this a harmless gesture?

I think it is time for you to find a new way to work.....no more riding in his car. This is not a harmless gesture, what would you do if your husband was taking someone to work and asked her to go for a drink one night......think about that and how that would make you feel....as for me I would be pissed off......so think about the other person that is involved with this also and the kids are the most important thing to think about. Remember it is time to move on to a new way of getting to work. As your own husband to take you if he can.

No its not right for a married man to ask you a married woman out to drinks. Unless you are married to each other. That can led to problems and two divorces. I do not care how decent this guy is. Its not a harmless gesture. It may sound like it. Things will get out of hand and if he were my husband I would find a way to get even and get you in the process. His wife would be more then pissed as would your husband. .

if u have been riding bus with him and feel comfortable enough that u can go with him in his car, then i dont see any reason why u both cant go out for drinks .. i am sure, you must have thot of him as harmless and decent when u decided to go in his car ..

dont over analyze it .. do what your heart says .. he might be just a simple friend and is asking if u want drink with him . . plus he is asking u to go to a club or something and not taking u to his house when his wife and kids are gone ..

A harmless gesture would be a guy buying you a drink at the bar. He could be decent but I don't like the sound of it. Don't.

Maria you know very well where that will lead to,its fun and exciting to think about it but your married and he is too,but who will you hurt, your child and the marriage, keep away as much as you do want to. A man knows what you want decent or not,its wrong and you know it. Is it ok for your husband to do it,wheres the trust and love in your marriage its a commitment you gave to him. please dont do it. It could seem harmless but eventually it becomes dangerous and you can lose alot for a one night of fun.

No, and ,no! He is not a decent person, and this is not a harmless gesture. If you want to stay married, find another way to work.....

Depends. I have loads of platonic male friends, some are happily married -- have you picked up any sort of "vibe"? Do you feel comfortable going out for drinks with him? A good rule is: don't do anything you wouldn't tell your spouse about!

I think your playing with fire. Would you be alright if your husband was taking rides from another woman and accepting drink invitations. If the answer is yes, then by all means...ruin your marriage.

i think that that could and might lead to a divorce but if it's a person from work then say i can but only every once in a while unless u take ur family to meet each other and u might want to try to spend more time with ur fam

Yes i agree, this man is going to try to get down your pants soon.
Stop the road trips and forget him. Sounds like this man knows what he is doing.

Good Luck
