Somebody Please Help me...I want sound on my pc, I cant get it to work?

Question

I dont have the software installed, and I lost my disk.

Do you have a link i can goto and simply download the software for it to work?

I have an HP Compaq Presrio Desktop PC Windows XP home eddition.

I want sound so i can watch Alex Jones videos about the truth on 9/11

Please Help.

Please dont give me the run around like goto hp.com and search, I tried that and i am getting no where, Please find me the exact link and exact software for this to work, Would be much very appreated.

hey. i will be glad to send you the exact link, but first, i need the model number... something like hc5000, or something like that. If you can edit your post with the info, i will try to get it and link it for you.

go to your control panel

select "sounds and multimedia"

select the "audio" tab

under "sound playback" it will show the "preferred device"

This is most likely your sound card. using that, you can punch the sound card name into a search engine and search for drivers for it. Sorry, but thats all we can do. Without knowing what kind of soundcard you have, we can't just point you to a driver site.
