Anytime anyone contacts me, I get an error saying, "An Error has occurred in the script on this page." Then it goes on to tell me that the URL that is the problem is my Temp/TMP1A.tmp. How can I fix this? I've downgraded, I've uninstalled, reinstalled, and it's still doing it. Then it will finally just error out completely and want to tell Microsoft about the problem. I'm using Internet Explorer and Windows XP. Help? Please???

First, open IE, and click Tools, then Internet Options. Click on Delete Files and delete all. This will erase your Temporary Internet Files folder.

Then, go to c:\documents and settings\[your username]\, and click Tools, View, then find and click the button to show hidden files and folders. Click OK.

Then open Local Settings, then Temp. Select everything in this folder, and delete it. You may have to restart to delete them all.

That should fix it! Good luck.

Clean up your computer, all temp files, all cache files.. all cookies.. How much ram do you have? How fast a processor? All these things can cause problems if your system isn't fairly up to date..
As for downgrading, I have NEVER heard where downgrading helps anything.

Don't worry about that.

That's just really poor coding from the webdesigner of the page you are viewing.

You can choose to continue running the script (IE asks you) or end it if it will start behaving weird. Though, it seems you should close it if it crashed the browser.
