Well on average the buffet dinners will run you about 15$
Breakfast and lunch about 13$
If you time it right go to Ballys at 10:30 and you can have both the breakfast buffet and lunch buffet combined.
It doesn't take to long for slot machines to eat up 1/2 dozen 20 dollar bills.
I play 3 card poker and $100 has lasted me 4 5 even 6 hours. Quite often you walk away a winner as well.
Other stuff: A good show can run you from $75 to $125
A headliner up to $250 +
There are lots of cheaper shows to pick from as well
A cab from one end of the strip to the other will be around $12, A cab from downtown to the strip about 23$.
Check out the site below for lots of great reviews and price guides

First you need to know how many days you are going to be there to determine spending money for food. There are fast food places everywhere so you could eat for cheap. As for the gambling money you need to decide how much you are willing to lose and DO NOT go over that amount. You could sit on a penny slot machine with $20 for 5 hours or you could go to a black jack table and lose $100 in 5 minutes. It depends on what kind a gambling you want to do and how much money you are willing to throw away. Good luck.

I live close to vegas let me give you some tips only take what will not hurt you finacially at home if you loose it all 2nd of all when you go down to the casino leave all credit cards checkbooks and the such in your hotel room so you are not tempted to spend more than you can afford. And if you are looking for Vegas fun that will last a while try playing the $.25 machines and similar and remeber there are tons of great sites and shows to see as well.

Depends. Never spend more than you can afford for one. If you have an over abundance of $$$ guess it would not matter. Set a limit you are comfortable with and stick to it. I gambled on $20.00 and came home with $1200.00 just from the slots in the MGM Grand. As I would "make" $100.00 I stashed it aside in my "savings" and did not touch it. I kept saving till I spent the "surplus". Nice to come home and have a shopping trip:)
P.S. Food is not cheap in Vegas like everybody always says it is...

None - sign up for a bucketload of credit cards and use those. Like most, you will only have enough in your checking account to pay the rent. Use that too. Everyone does. Spend, spend, spend, the bills at home can wait as it takes an average of six months to get you evicted.

Always take more than you're willing to lose!
Don't be the person that drives to Las Vegas in a $20,000 car and returns home on a $100,000 greyhound bus.
Good luck!

Vegas was not built on winners so, only bring what you can afford to lose. A rule of thumb it only takes about 30 minutes to go through $100.00 on a 25cent slot.

You need to make a budget and stick to it. Give yourself so much for food, gambling, and shows that you will be attending, also take out extra funds for tips.
