I think you both need to wait a little bit longer. If your girlfriend says she is a virgin, then you need to believe her. Don't go behind her back to check out if she's telling the truth. If she finds you, you will have really hurt her by not trusting her in the first place. She doesn't have a reason to lie to you about this. If you are a virgin as well and want to have sex with her, then why is it so strange that she, also a virgin, wants to have sex as well? Don't say that it's because of gender because that has nothing to do with it. There is no study that says that men have more or less of a sex drive than women. Some individuals have more of a sex drive, but gender is independent from that difference. If you two truly want to have sex, then you need to talk about things together and you need to talk about them completely before you make any choices. Don't just be foolish and read the Nike logo. Just do it doesn't work if you want to be responsible about this. Do not be foolish when it comes to your sex life. Learn about contraceptives. Learn about what methods work and what methods do NOT work (i.e. pull-out method does NOT work). Learn how to properly use things, like condoms. You would be surprised at the percentage of people having sex aren't using condoms properly at all. There are other options out there, but you need to be properly informed before you do this. Do remember that there is always an assumed risk of pregnancy -- ALWAYS. Please, don't assume things. Just talk to your girlfriend. You both need to make this choice. It cannot be one person pushing the other. I am not accusing you of pushing her or that she is pushing you. I am saying that if there is a SLIGHT bit of doubt in your mind or in hers, then you shouldn't have sex with each other. It isn't the right time. Ideally, you should wait until marriage seriously.

This differs from girl to girl. If you sit down with your girlfriend in a comfortable room just talk to her about things then slowly get into her being a virgin.

You can't tell so you'll just have to trust her. If she says she's a virgin than you'll have to believe her.

It doesn't mater. What maters is that she is willing to give her self to you. Anything that happen before that time is of no concern.
