If you are one of these women, you will probably take offense. But instead, try to look at your behavior and how you degrade yourself as a human being and a woman. Try self respect, modesty, pride, and dignity, it would look so beautiful on you.

And this isn't about what women of other races do, look at you.

I can totally relate with you. I thought I was the only one. Its a crime now amoungst our own people to speak and act like you have some class. Then you're accused of being stuck up.

Darling, that's very stereotypical of you. Unfortunately, there some young sisters are appealing to those things that are seen on MTV, BET, VH1, and even CMT! But you cannot say that ALL black women are like that. Do you think that way of women who are from the Ozarks via the trailor park? "Ghetto and uncouthness" knows no racial boundaries, sweetie. Most young women of all races are affected by hip hop culture. But the black women that I know(including yours truly) were raised to have dignity and self respect. But when you say "you", you're making a very general and racist statement. How do you feel about YOU? Let me ask you that. Besides, if you stop looking at the following channels and publications that shine a negative light on black women and look at all the wonderful, positive, and strong contributions that black women as a whole have made in this world. Now, once again, before you can point the finger at anyone else, take a look at YOU.

Well, not all black women are like that, let's not stereotype that's not cool. Some are though and it is really, really (did I mention really?) unattractive. I like my woman because she acts like a woman. She's kind, compassionate, cute, shy at times, but strong at others. When a woman acts all ghetto and "hardcore" I don't know which to do: laugh or be disgusted. We can thank the fem-nazi's for that though. God Bless.

Ok I just re-read the posts, look at Mrs. Me's comment. Now that is a GOOD woman right there! Good for you.

I've seen documentaries on the discovery channel where black women who lived in trees and shacks have more self respect than some "ghetto" women in America. I guess it is all how you are raised, how much you value your education and if you care how people perceive you.

Well I'm a white guy but I'll put my 2 cents in. Most of them are not like this, in fact most of them are just normal people. It is the few that you see acting the stereotype that you actually notice. It is just the ones that are trying to be "cool" or whatever it is they watch on MTV these days.

Oh and those buck nasty white women on Cops I'm mean they have so much modesty and pride and dignity don't they. It's just oozing out of them. WHO ARE YOU TO TALK SH*T why don't you sweep off your own front porch and stop worrying about an entire Gender in one Race. You must have a lot of time on your hands or tried to get at a black woman and she saw that your'ed full of sh*t and dissed you. I know plenty of classy black women that take good care of themselves. To bad all you trained yourself to see the negative.

It's racist to assume that all women of a certain race, or only women of a certain race behave that way. Hoes come from all ethnicities. I think it comes from low self-esteem and the idea that it's attractive to behave this way, perpetuated by the media or from an overeagerness to please. Yes, self-respect and dignity are much more beautiful than uncouthness.

I know several black women who do not act that way, and they carry themselves better than any other race. But every single race has people in it that are looked down on by society. So I guess you can say the same about white trailor trash and border jumping mexicans. Every race has their own low class.

Darlin, this is the result of rap culture. That question can so easily be extended to everyone under a certain age, not just limited to women of a certain ethnicity. It's permeated everything. For something so ugly and crude, I can't believe the levels of popularity it's reached.
