Ok so I understand you might start your ride on a nameless horse... but wouldn't after a couple of days you would name it?!!! I mean really, you are in a desert for heavens sake, there is not that much to do... how about naming the horse. Call it horsey, hey you, spot, whatever... but if you have nothing to do why can't you just name that stupid horse!!!!

Because going through the rain forest on a horse with a name is not nearly as fun.

To find yourself of course... So a nameless horse, you're alone without a friend in the godforsaken desert. It's all good for reflection and all that fun stuff. Besides, you can remember your name and no one's there to give you no pain; you can let your horse loose and really concentrate on rocks and sand and things...Works wonders for moral.

Contray to popular belief, the horse in that music video actually had a name. It was all make believe. In real life, all horses are named at birth.

Because some people don't name their animals -- or maybe he stole it -- but the why .... is because he was trying to get the coast and had to ride through the desert to get there.

And mostly because "'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain"

The same reason as the chicken. To get to the other side.

And if I get hungry, I would rather eat something without a name.

Does horse taste like chicken?
