1) I'm not sure it's hard sometimes to separate hype from news. They frequently look the same. Here's an article I found interesting though not apparently hype, it may have been been influenced by it.
2) the second link also gives a recipe for making your own Homemade Glyconutrient Powder at a fraction of what's on the market.
