can you really combine pedals to make new sounds. like if i were to hook up a boss dd3 delay and a dd6 delay would do something crazy and make something new? i was wondering because im going to buy a whole bunch of pedals soon and i want new sounds no one ever heard of.

Yeah of course you can have 1,000 pedals at a time. However, it can get kinda expensive, so I got this thing called a Digitech RP50 (It's about 60 bucks), and you can combine all kinds of effects. It's got distortion, overdrive, phaser, chorus, wahwah, all kinds of stuff

You can get it at guitarcenter, but theres a link on the website called musiciansfriend. you should be able to listen to some audio samples

Yep, you can string them together in every conceivable combination. The only problem is, most of the stuff that sounds good has already been thought up. Still, if you like the idea of a thirds + 14-second delay + wah + whammy setup, you're welcome to make one.
