Because they don't. They don't care about anything other than hating Bush.
If Bush suddenly turned on Israel the lIbs would suddenly be calling for the destruction of Palestine.

"We're doing what's best for them" ... whether they like it or not.
That's the exact point in question. The vast majority of the Iraqi general population, including the insurgents who are Iraqi citizens, don't want us there. It's a civil/sectarian war between different factions, and it's none of our business to choose sides.
So, by forcing our opinions on them, we are ignoring what they want. Liberals tend to oppose forcing people to do something they don't want to do, if there's a choice.
I've notice that those who are anti-liberty have no qualms about forcing people to do something they don't want, just because the people forcing them are have more power or are in the majority.
Very consistent behavior from both camps.

I dont care about the iraqis we went in got rid of the evil sadam and gave the people the oportunity for freedom and they would rather blow each other up so screw it we won lets let them kill each other come home and stringthen up so we can let iran and north korea know were the wrong mother father to mess with
