Ok here is my situation. On Wednesday I took a pregnancy test at 9:30 PM and it was positive. Then I took another one at 7:30 AM the following morning and it was positive. I have felt the symptomes but my husband and I have been trying for 8 years and nothing so I am kind of in shock. Do you think I am really pregnant?

My last period was on June 30th. I have felt sick the last 3 weeks and my boobs have been really sore since about 4 weeks ago.

lol,
Congratulations. You are definitely pregnant. There is no mistaking a positive pregnancy test. I did the same thing when I was pregnant. I took 3 or 4 test that all said positive. I just couldn't believe it, I just wanted to make sure.
When it comes to pregnancy test. IF it says your positive you are definitely positive. If it says your negative there is still a chance your are pregnant and just took it too soon.
I am very happy for you and your husband.

Okay from what it sounds like yes you are. Just try to remember when you last had you period or when you think it actually 'happened'. Check the box to see how many weeks after your last period does the test work best. From what I know it should be about 2 to 3 weeks after.

But since you said you have been trying it might change things. Have you been using fertility drugs? This may affect the results. Try checking out this site: http://www.health.sa.gov.au/pregnancy/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabid=49 and look through the diffrent links it gives.

Typically if you get a positive result, you are pregnant! Hooray! It is rare that you get a false positive unless there was human error in reading the test. The tests test for HCG and it would be difficult to show a hormone that isn't really there. So, it is probably there. Get a blood test to confirm. Most incorrect test show a false negative. Those people most likely tested too early.

YES!! CONGRATS!! Usually you can get a false negative but usually never a false positive! Make a doctor's appointment and find out your due date and how far along you are and all of that fun stuff! I am so happy for you! You are finally going to experience parenthood!

Yeah, it sounds likely. Go to the doctor and ask for a blood test. Its nearly 100%. Good luck. Motherhood is the most wonderful thing in the world. Pregnancy is pretty good too. (if your lucky enough not to get morning sickness)

The pregnancy tests that are sold nowadays are pretty sensitive, especially in the morning. Your doc will do a blood test to confirm, but I'd say that, yes, you probably are preggers. Congrats!

If you got two positives from home tests, it looks good. Check with your doctor to be sure. I have a feeling that congratulations are in order!

You don't have to "feel" pregnant to be pregnant. Are you taking any kind of hormones to help you ovulate? It takes a certain number of HCG (the pregnancy hormone) to make a pregancy test show positive. Rarely are positives false. It's more common to have false negatives.
