I thought that mood swings and grumpiness were supposed to pass by the 2nd trimester? I've been feeling really tired still and irritated, especially with my husband. Anyone else feel this way through most of there pregnancy? This is my 1st by the way!!! And sometimes I feel unhappy about being pregnant, like it won't be just me and my husband anymore......just sometimes though, mostly I'm excited about being pregnant!

I've been the same way...I get upset at the slightest thing! I'm still really tired all the time...I go to bed at 8 sometimes because I'm so tired (before I was pregnant I went to bed at 11 or 12.) And I'm still really irritable all the time. So, no, it's not just you! My aunt and friend are pregnant now too, in their second trimesters, and we are all a bunch of grumpy ladies...you don't wanna see us all together! haha!

100% completely normal. Matter of fact-expect to feel completely emotional and erratic for the rest of your pregnancy and beyond. Everyone's different, but I was an emotional wreck all the time. Sometimes I would cry for nothing. I would see something marginally sad like a cemetery and I would cry for hours. I was short with my husband. No, I was actually pretty mean to him most of the time, then I cried to him about being mean. Pregnancy takes over your hormones and nothing normal like it used to be. Expect the unexpected. That reminds me...if you don't have this book, get it..you will love it and use it every single day. "What to Expect When your Expecting". It will help

Perfectly normal to feel these things.

Especially if your baby was planned, you won't always feel so great about the sudden intrusion of this new little person.

Honestly, your hormones still rage till WELL after you deliver (so be prepared for the Baby Blues - post partum depression - after the baby's born), so "still" having irritation and anxiety issues is perfectly normal.
EVERYthing set me off when I was pregnant, right up to the day I delivered (actually well after - I suffered extreme PPD)!

I would recommend that if you're having SEVERE mood swings that you talk to you OB about them. He or she might be able to help you out or offer an herbal supplement that might help.

It's normal. I have a 3 year old and a 5 week old. I think I have been feeling like that since I got pregnant with the first until now. LOL

i felt that way at 20 weeks and most of my pregnancy, i was tired through out the whole pregnancy and had morning sickness too. I just had my baby girl 2 months ago and she was also my first. i just advise you to sit down and talk to your husband about how you are feeling let him understand that it's not him. that it's just your hormones talking.

No no - the HORMONAL mood swings are done. Now you have the "I'm getting big and I'm always hungry and tired and I have a headache and my feet hurt and I feel like throwing up" mood swings. It's normal. After this comes the "I'm the size of a house please get this baby out of me" mood swings, and then the "OMG I have a baby now what do I do???" mood swings.

All of these things are perfectly normal during a pregnancy. We went through this every time. I hope this helps.

You are normal. It is your hormones. So many things are going on within your body right now. I would still speak to your doctor about your feelings.
