I am burning a karaoke download to disc with a program called Power CD+G burner. Although I am able to burn the music I want to disc, the accompanying words to singalong to aren't displayed when I go to play the disc in my DVD player. Is this simply the fault of the DVD player? Or is there something else I need to try. I am going to a party with a karaoke machine there, and will the words display when the disc is inserted into that sort of device? I know the words are part of the file type, I don't know what I've done wrong. Thanks for your help.

unless your DVD player lists that it will play CD+G's you will not be able to see the lyrics on your TV/monitor....I would recommend that you finalize the disc and find a CD+G player to verify your copy before the party. Most KJ's should be helpful or ask around to see if someone has a "singing machine"(they are really cheap boom box type players sold at walmart/kmark etc for home use.
