A big-mouthed co-worker(I'll call him John Page) kept shootin off his mouth about how the Sox were goona sweep the Yanks. So, I told him I would give him $100 if they did and he would only have to give me $20 if they didn't. Easiest $20 I ever made.

haha..RED SUX totally down today,especially when they play with the YANKEES.. 12-4 "sweet!" RED SUX 0 for 16 with runners in scoring position..hopefully this luck will bring us in this game 2 tonight~

OK, Duncan, you ripped off John Page. The odds against a 5 game sweep were probably 100-1, but John's not making his living in Vegas. Maybe let him go double or nothing based on who wins the night cap just to be fair to a co-worker. You never know when some one will leave a thumbtack on your seat or wipe your c drive clean. Go Sox.

I actually don't have any difficulty with Sox/Yanks beating one yet another up in the octogon or figuring out to purchase and promoting insults or booing one yet another. do merely not do it even as 28 different communities do not truly care. i'm constructive the entire NL area loved it inspite of the undeniable fact that. I on the different hand had a difficulty with the circumstances. Who doesn't desire abode field? Yankees followers at that recreation apparantly. Booing Papelbon even as pitching i wager grow to be more effective major to them than prevailing abode field for the AL. i won't be able to and could no longer justify that no remember what got here about in 1999.
