What sort of administrative blocks are there? Are you simply looking to view more sites on the internet, or do you want to access certain parts of your computer (Control Panel, Device Manager, etc)

**DISCLAIMER** This probably is something you should just forget about anyways. Unless you really hate the job, if you have to ask questions about how to get around something, chances are the Network Admin is smart enough to find out anyways :-P

There are ways around many things, if you know what you are doing and have the background. For example you can gain administrative access on a Windows XP machine by booting from a Windows 2000 install disc. This is a serious flaw. You can search the web for more details.
