Ok, I want to be alarmed before going there.

When you bring a used shirt to sell them, how much are they willing to give you?

Depends on the store, it's different for every one. Some take 60 percent and give you forty if it sells. That's if it's consignment, if it isn't then, it can vary and it is too hard to say for sure. Probably a few bucks.

Most thrift stores are charity based. They accept donations of goods, they do not purchase. Those that are privately operated might, I say Might! offer you 50 cents or a buck if it's a really expensive shirt in excellent condition.

A thrift store will give you nothing..such as a local church store or salvation army......a consignment shop will resell it for you and give you a percentage of the price they can sell it for..but you get paid only after the item is sold..

thrift stores dont give you anything. theyre usually donation only. but take it to a consignment shop...it depends on the shirt but prob not more than a couple of dollars at most.
