All places have problems with race but to what degree do you think Vermont has them...?

No, if anything Vermont ranks very very low on the multicultural scale. However, that doesn't mean the people aren't friendly and accepting.

I heard Vermont is the second least multicultural state in the US and Maine is first. I don't know how accurate this information is though.

All the white people in Vermont get along just great!

No, all the caucasians there get along fine! Doesn't matter if they're anglo or what have you.....it's almost all "white".

The entire Northeastern part of the US (excluding NYC and Philadelphia) is predominantly "white", period.

For example, when I was still in PA...I found it funny that the state was 84% caucasian.....

Vermont is one of the whitest states. Its also a nice place, low crime, lots of gun ownership.


IS there a relationship between the whiteness and the niceness. You decide....

There are hippies and rednecks in VT but mostly stoners and rednecks.
