You are a football newbie.
Winning in preseason means nothing. Oftentimes the better team loses because they can rest their starters sooner than the poorer team, who is still using their best players because their mediocre line up is still unsettled, and they want to see which players are better. Than the second half of a pre season game is just a job interview or try out.
I will repeat what I told somebody else,
the only 2 groups of people who care who wins a preseason game is as follows:
*degenerant gamblers
**people with limited knowledge of football
